Frank Spatuzzi, Purple Heart recipient (1918-2012)

Frank Spatuzzi, a decorated World War II veteran and purple heart recipient, was a retired developer who also acted on behalf of orphans and baseball. He died Jan. 13. In this file video, he calmly talks about the day a Japanese suicide bomber headed right for his ship. Injured in 1944 from a Kamikaze attack in the Philippine Islands
